A community to share publications related to bio-systematics, providing open access to publications cited in publications or in combination with scientific names and digital object identifiers (DOI) to enable citations of the publications including direct access to their digital representation.
bioRxiv (pronounced "bio-archive") is a free online archive and distribution service for unpublished preprints in the life sciences. bioRxiv accepts preprints of articles covering all aspects of research in the life sciences.
Chronicling America is a Website providing access to information about historic newspapers and select digitized newspaper pages, and is produced by the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP). NDNP, a partnership between the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the Library of Congress (LC), is a long-term effort to develop an Internet-based, searchable database of U.S. newspapers with descriptive information and select digitization of historic pages. Supported by NEH, this rich digital resource will be developed and permanently maintained at the Library of Congress.

The Millennium Seed Bank Partnership represents the largest and most ambitious ex situ plant conservation initiative in the world. The MSBP is a worldwide partnership aiming to save plants most at risk and most useful for the future. The network of partners now spans 50 countries with some 120 actively participating institutions.
PubAg is a portal to USDA-authored and other highly relevant agricultural research. At launch, it delivers over 40,000 full-text journal articles by USDA staff and includes nearly 450,000 citations. The Library will add about 20,000 citations each month.

AgSpace is the National Agricultural Library's (NAL's) digital repository and includes selected articles, research and other information produced by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). In addition to the current research, digitized publications have been added to enrich and open access to materials previously available only through loan or on-site use.
DocuBase is a set of services that allows users to store, organize and maintain network-accessible distributed document resources. Examples of such resources are on-line readers for courses, collections of documents related to some topic, collections of personal documents, technical report series, and collections of documents mantained by a working group.
TDX (Theses and Dissertations Online) is a digital cooperative repository of doctoral theses presented at some Spanish universities. The consultation of theses is opened and allows the user to construct searches on the complete text of the files by author, advisor, title, knowledge area, university and department of publication, year of defense, etc.
