Early Canadiana Online (ECO) offers ten online collections totaling 3.4 million pages and is continually expanding its content. The collections include material published from the time of the first European settlers to the first two decades of the 20th Century. The collection is particularly strong in literature, women's history, native studies, travel and exploration, and the history of French Canada. This collection is a part of the Canadian Institute of Historical Microreproductions (CIHM) collection, which includes over 80,000 documents.
